【摘要】:AcceptanceTesting8212;Thistestmethodmaybeusedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsoffabricsbecausetheprecisionisacceptable(see15.1).Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,usethesamplesforsuchacomparativetestthatareashomogeneousaspossible,drawnfromthesamelotofmaterialasthesamplesthatresultedindisparateresultsduringinitialtestingandrandomlyassignedinequalnumbertoeachlaboratory.Thetestresultsfromthelaboratoriesinvolvedshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifbiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatmaterialmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforqualitycontroltestingoffabricsduringmanufacturingandproductcomparisonsofdifferentfabricsbymanufacturers,retailers,andusers.Thistestmethodmayalsobeusedbyresearcherstoexaminetheeffectofnewfibers,yarns,fabricconstructions,andfinishesonthesnaggingresistanceoffabrics.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtotestthesnaggingresistanceofmostapparelandhomefurnishingsfabrics.However,adifferenttestmethod(see5.3.1)maybeneededfordifferenttypesoffabricsanddifferentend-uses(suchastowels,swimwear,slacks,andupholstery).Somefabricswhichmaynotbesuitableforthistestmethodaredescribedin1.2.ManyopenconstructionfabricscanbetestedforsnaggingresistanceusingAATCCTestMethod65.ManyheavyorstifffabricscanbetestedforsnaggingresistanceusingTestMethodD3939.ThesnaggingresistanceofmanypilefloorcoveringscanbetestedbyTestMethodD1335.Becausefabricsnaggingcanbeaffectedbylaunderingordrycleaning,itmaybeadvisabletotestthesnaggingresistanceofafabricbeforeandafterlaunderingordrycleaning.Thesnaggingresistanceofaspecificfabricvarieswithindividualwearersandgeneralconditionsofuse.Therefore,itcanbeexpectedthatgarmentsofthesamefabricwillshowafairlywidesnaggingresistancespectrumafterwearandmuchgreatervariationinwearthaninreplicatefabricspecimenssubjectedtocontrolledlaboratorytests.Thisfactorshouldbeconsideredwhenadoptinglevelsofacceptabilityforanyspecificationthatincludessnaggingresistance.Snagsobservedinworngarmentsvaryappreciablyinnumberandappearance.Theappearanceofasnagdependsparticularlyon(1)thedegreeofcolorcontrastbetweenthesnagandthesurroundingareaofthefabric,or,(2)thepresenceoflongdistortionsorlongprotrusions.Theseconditionsarenotevaluatedwhensnaggingisratedsolelyonthenumberofsnags.SeeSection3foradescriptionofterminologysuchascolorcontrast,distortion,andprotrusionSeeFigs.1-3.Becausetheoverallacceptabilityofaspecificfabricisdependentonboththecharacteristicsofthesnagsandotherfactorsaffectingfabricappearance,itisrecommendedthatfabricstestedinthelaboratorybeevaluatedwithregardtothedefectswhichmaybevisuallyobservedandnotratedsolelyonthenumberofsnagsdeveloped.Aseriesofvisualratingstandards(see6.7)maybesetuptoprovideabasisfortheratings.Thevisualratingstandardsaremostadvantageouswhenthetestedlaboratoryspecimenscorrelatecloselyinappearancewithfabricsfromaweartest;forexamplewhentestedlaboratoryspecimensandfabricsfromaweartestshowsimilarcolorcontrasts.Intheprecedingexample,aseriesoffabrics.......
