【摘要】:ThemeanmaximumreflectanceofthevitrinitecomponentincoalasdeterminedbythistestmethodisoftenusedasanindicatorofrankaspresentedinClassificationD388,independentofpetrographiccomposition,andinthecharacterizationofcoalasfeedstockforcarbonization,gasification,liquefaction,andcombustionprocesses.Ifmeanmaximumreflectanceisusedasarankindicator,thetypesofvitrinitesmeasuredshallbespecified.Thistestmethodisforuseinscientificandindustrialresearch.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemicroscopicaldeterminationofboththemeanmaximumandmeanrandomreflectancesmeasuredinoilofpolishedsurfacesofvitriniteandothermaceralspresentincoalsranginginrankfromlignitetoanthracite.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminethereflectanceofothermacerals.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
