【摘要】:Thesamplingproceduresdescribedinthispracticehavebeendesignedtoensurerandomsamplingoffinishedleatherandfabricatedleatheritemsforphysicalandchemicaltests.Leatherisanaturalproductandassuchissubjecttoextensivevariability.Thephysicalandchemicalpropertiesvaryconsiderablydependingonlocationonthehide,sideorskinfromwhichthetestsampleistaken.Randomsamplingofspecimensfromapredefinedlocationandorientationminimizestestbiasandvariability.Thispracticedefinestheseparameters.1.1Thispracticecoversthesamplingoffinishedleatherandfabricatedleatheritemsforphysicalandchemicaltests.Theproductisgroupedintolotsthatarerandomlysampledinsuchamannerastoproducearepresentativesampleofthelot.Thissamplemaybeusedtodeterminecomplianceofthelotwithapplicablespecificationrequirements,andonthebasisofresults,thelotmaybeacceptedorrejectedinitsentirety.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardgivesguidanceonthesupervisionandmaintenanceofthequalityoftheinsulatingoilinelectricalequipment.Thisstandardisapplicabletomineralinsulatingoils,originallysuppliedconformingtoIEC60296,andusedintransformers,switchgearandotherelectricalapparatuswhereoilsamplingisreasonablypracticableandwherethenormaloperatingconditionsspecifiedintheequipmentspecificationsapply.Thisstandardassiststhepowerequipmentoperatortoevaluatetheconditionoftheoilandmaintainitinaserviceablecondition.Italsoprovidesacommonbasisforthepreparationofmorespecificandcompletelocalcodesofpractice.ThisstandardincludesrecommendationsontestsandevaluationproceduresandoutlinesmethodsforreconditioningandreclaimingoilandthedecontaminationofoilcontaminatedwithPCB.NOTETheconditionmonitoringofelectricalequipment,forexamplebyanalysisofdissolvedgases,furaniccompoundsorothermeansisoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.

【摘要】:Appliestoswingingdoorassemblies,includingdoorframeswithlightsandpanels,ofvariousmaterialsandtypesofconstructionforuseinwallopeningstoretardthepassageoffire.Themethoddoesnotprovideanevaluationofaswingingdoorassemblywhenthatassemblyispartofalargerassembly(e.g.slidingfiredoorassembly),orwhenitisintendedtobeusedasanelevatorentrance.Testsmadeinconformitywiththesetestmethodsareintendedtoregisterperformanceduringthetestexposure;butsuchtestsshallnotbeconstruedasdeterminingsuitabilityforuseafterexposuretofire.Itistheintentthattestsmadeinconformitywiththesetestmethodsallowforthedevelopmentofdatatoenableregulatorybodiestodeterminethesuitabilityofdoorassembliesforuseinlocationswherefireresistanceofaspecifieddurationisrequired.Thesemethodsareintendedtoevaluatetheabilityofadoorassemblytoremaininanopeningduringapredeterminedtestexposure.Thetestsexposeaspecimentoastandardfireexposurecontrolledtoachievespecifiedtemperaturesthroughoutaspecifiedtimeperiod,followedbytheapplicationofaspecifiedstandardfirehosestream.Theexposure,however,isnotrepresentativeofallfireconditions,whichvarywithchangesintheamount,nature,anddistributionoffireloading,ventilation,compartmentsizeandconfiguration,andheatsinkcharacteristicsofthecompartment.Itdoes,however,providearelativemeasureoffireperformanceofdoorassembliesunderthesespecifiedfireexposureconditions.Anyvariationfromtheconstructionorconditionsthataretestediscapableofsubstantiallychangingtheperformancecharacteristicsoftheassembly.Thisstandardwaslistedforpublicreviewinthe7/17/1998issueofStandardsAction.Itisbeingresubmittedduetosubstantivechangestothetext.(seetextfor30-dayPRinemailsent1/11/2001)
